The Vulnerability Registration Service (VRS) is the UK’s first central register for vulnerable people. It is free to use, entirely voluntary, and users can remove themselves from it whenever they decide their circumstances have sufficiently improved. By giving vulnerable consumers a single place to register their status, the VRS helps customers avoid having to repeat the same difficult conversations every time they engage with organisations like lenders and creditors. The VRS is a not for profit company limited by guarantee, so all income is reinvested in running the register and supporting vulnerable consumers, and is independent of any other database provider or credit reference agency. It has been developed following constructive dialogue over a long period with a range of stakeholders in the public, private, and charity sectors.
We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. We believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We’ll listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner.
Mental health problems can make earning and managing your money harder, and debt can trigger or worsen conditions such as anxiety, depression and stress. Since 1949, the Mental Health Foundation has been the UK’s leading charity for everyone’s mental health.
Every day, Samaritans volunteers respond to around 10,000 calls for help. We’re here, day or night, for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure. Samaritans is not only for the moment of crisis, we’re taking action to prevent the crisis. We give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others. And we encourage, promote and celebrate those moments of connection between people that can save lives. We offer listening and support to people and communities in times of need.
For enquiries or assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to provide the support and solutions you need.
